Genies & Gems is an original match 3 mobile IP developed at Jam City. From early concept through production, I created in game and marketing art including story illustrations, collectibles, UI, and promotional assets while working closely with both the game and marketing teams.

Marketing Art


I created these marketing illustrations to attract players across social media and digital ads, with a focus on energetic, expressive characters that feel exciting and clickable. I also contributed to font selection and text design to reinforce clarity, hierarchy, and brand consistency.

Assets were delivered in flexible formats so the marketing team could easily adapt them for a wide range of ad placements and campaigns.

Game Board


As Senior Artist on Genies & Gems, I helped define the visual language for the game’s foundational pieces, including tiling dirt blockers, the rainbow power piece, and multiple blocker systems. Match-3 blockers present unique challenges due to layered states and the need to clearly communicate progression across multiple break phases.

A key focus was maintaining strong readability at small mobile scale, balancing visual richness with clean silhouettes, contrast hierarchy, and clear state transitions to support fast, intuitive gameplay.
